There are times when you postpone something....And then you regret it(as you have never done before)...
Something similar happened to three of us(Me,Koushik n VR)....But then it was a day like no other....Nothing in the world could prevent us from......OK lemme start from the beginning...
It was the 20th of august..a friday.... Nothing special other than a special lab class(grrrr)...We had made plans of leaving to chennai from coll friday afternoon(with complete enthu coz it was 3 day(onam)...but made 4day(bunk) by us)...But then this lab comes up al of a sudden and we decide..Let us give attendance and then run away to chennai... Seemed like a good idea...But when we went to lab...we stayed till 4..not like we couldnt have walked out...we could have...but there are times when u sit rooted to spot....which happened to be a big mistake later.....
So...we sat till 4....n if we started then we would reach chennai only at 1 or 2..early next morning.....which really dint seem a great idea...So we decided to leave that by bus that night(no train tickets)....which is what we usually do in the absence of train tickets..
So..the three musketeers.....We reached trichy bus stand by 8.30....went to a restaurant..had good food.. and came backk
SHOCK..SHOCK...
All the bloody buses were full...completely filled.....even the private...and the one or two that were there trippled the prices....ufff
WE were left with onle one choice...Take the normal bus...Where u wil have a rock n roll ride and u can sleep on the bed for the next two days...Doesnt sound interesting right???? yea,,,,we dint take it.... As a matter of fact..we always had the option of returning to college..But then sometimes the desire to go to chennai is sooooooo high that we would find someway of reaching there by next morning..... Even if it meant running to the railway station...getting a unreserved ticket to chennai(which happens to be cheaper than the auto cost from chennai egmore to my place -100)...Waiting for "MSegmore"...ditching "rockfort" coz it was full..... Standing in rain...only to hear that "MS egmore" has been delayed by 30min.....
Too much of bad luck....
(Note: we had given our luggage to our friends coz it would be hard to get in unreserved with them)
We had to resort to the last measure.....Pray....pray that msegmore wouldnt be full... and somehow...we were lucky...i wouldnt say it was empty...but we managed to get seats...(that also meant one of us climbing through emergency exit..and that was not me)..There was a small adventure in train too...which would be in my next blog....
Ending with a positive note...we reached chennai next morning and slept the whole day./
